The SEAM directory
Accredited professionals, certified projects, and member organizations — the growing network advancing social equity in the built environment.
The public record of who is doing this work
The SEAM directory is the searchable index of everyone verified under the SEAM Standard: accredited professionals credentialed to lead certification work, certified projects assessed and awarded at Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum, and certified organizations and members committed to social equity in the built environment.
Use it to find a SEAM AP for a project team, to check whether a firm or building holds a current SEAM achievement, or to see how the field is being practiced in your region. Every listing links to a full profile with credentials, specialties, and location.
Getting listed follows earning the credential. Earn the SEAM AP credential to be listed as a professional, pursue SEAM certification to list a project, or join as a member to list your organization.
Accredited professionals
SEAM Accredited Professionals (SEAM APs) are practitioners credentialed to lead social equity assessment and certification in the built environment. Every AP listed here has completed the Foundations coursework and passed the proctored SEAM AP exam. Silver, Gold, and Platinum certification submissions require at least one SEAM AP on the project team.

About the SEAM directory
What is a SEAM Accredited Professional?
A SEAM Accredited Professional (SEAM AP) is a practitioner credentialed to lead social equity assessment and certification in the built environment. Earning the credential requires completing the Foundations coursework and passing a proctored, scenario-based exam. Silver, Gold, and Platinum SEAM certification submissions require at least one SEAM AP on the project team.
How do I get listed in the SEAM directory?
Professionals are listed after earning the SEAM AP credential. Projects are listed after being certified against the SEAM Standard at Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. Organizations are listed through SEAM membership. Listing follows verification — there is no way to be listed without one of the three.
What is the difference between a SEAM member and a certified project?
Membership is a commitment; certification is a verification. A member organization has joined the SEAM network and supports the Standard. A certified project has been independently assessed against the Standard and awarded a level. An organization can be a member without holding a certified project, and vice versa.
How do I find a SEAM AP near me?
Open the accredited professionals tab and search by name, organization, city, or specialty. Every AP profile lists their location, credentials, and areas of practice, so you can shortlist by region and by the kind of project you are staffing.
